GTX 560 Ti compatability

I currently have a amd phenom 9550 quad processor that is DDR2. I am wondering if there would be any bottlenecking or things of the sort if I were to upgrade my card from a gts 250 to a GTX 560 Ti (which I believe is DDR5).

The 9950 will probably bottleneck you. Of course you could buy it anyway, and keep it, if you plan on updating your system anyway.

Would a new Intel I7 940 2.93GHz processor be able to run a gtx 560 ti and gts 250 (possibly upgrading the gts in the future) in Sli mode?

An i7 will keep up with or surpass most any graphics card on the market right now. However you can't crossfire or SLI different cards. There are exceptions, but a 560 and a 250 will not work unless you're just using the 250 for a phsyx card.

I'd also recommend getting one of the 1155 i5/i7s instead, they cost less and perform better.
