GTX 660M in an Alienware M17x R3?

I have searched everywhere and nothing has confirmed or denied the possibility. I currently have an 6870M and would really like this as an upgrade... if its possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It would be an upgrade. I cannot find the R3, but check out the R2:

i7-3610QM 2.3GHz, 660m, and 8GB of RAM.

Now look at this lenovo:

i7-3610QM 2.3GHz, 660m, and 6GB of RAM.

Which is the better deal? Alienwares are way overpriced.

Ok, the resolution is way better on the alienware, but certainly not worth $1000 in my mind. If you can find the R4 somewhere:

That card is comparable to a desktop 7870.

youd think a 7970m would be a good leap better than the 660m, not gonna look up though, gotta go to sleep

My question really is though can I put the 660m in my R3. I already have the laptop. I think I can because I assume that since my computer is pretty new it will have PCI Express 2.0 or 3.0 and that is what is needed for the 660m. I guess maybe there isn't anything about it in google because the R3's heat-sinks and fans can't handle it?
