GTX 970 Question

I am looking at the different 970s and the HOF from Galax really catches my eye but doing some research someone said that the card was made for overclocking and I really have no intention of overclocking so is it worth getting the card even if i don't want to overclock or do i get a cheaper card that isn't made for overclocking?

If the price is good comparative to other GTX 970 cards go ahead.. No need to worry about overclocking since that's a whole chapter of its own..

You'll probably end up overclocking in the future just to get a few extra FPS + it's a lot easier to overclock GPU's then CPU's since no extra cooling hardware is needed.

ok in Australia the HOF is $559 and the other ones are $529 and below

It sounds like it's not worth the extra dollars, unless it offers more than overclocking. In reality though you can overclock any video card with certain programs.

no point in paying more than msrp for a video card imo, you can find good custom pcb's that cost the same as stock too.
