GTX 970

Thinking of replacing my really old Radeon 6850 with a GTX 970, saw some deal for it on Newegg at $280. Just wondering what's a good price for it and if there's a better comparable value right now/another card might become a much better deal due to price drop in the near future, etc. Thanks.
 
Good price for it. The R9 390 is slightly faster, but for that price I'd just grab the 970 unless you can find a comparable deal on the 390.

;( I didn't realize it was a 1 day shell shocker from Newegg so I kept doing research now it's back to it's regular price.
