GTX295 vs GTX285

Obviously when the GTX295 is running both GPUs it's more powerful. But how much weaker is it than the GTX285 when it's running only one card?

hard telling, if memory serves me correctly, each of the pcb's is equal to that of the gtx 275, so i would guess around 275 performance

So is it really worth it for me to trade a GTX295 for a GTX285?

I can't run WoW on max settings at max res without dipping passed 30fps and it's super frustrating.

Odd, doesnt WoW support SLI? Also have you tried overclocking your card/turning the fan speed on it up yet?

What have the folks at the EVGA forums told you about this?

I guarantee you'll find an answer there.

I would not get rid of that card if I were you. Go backwards to
get more framerate? lol You'll get it sorted I'm sure.

ya that seems kinda crazy. makes me wonder about the gts250 i just bought and games like joint ops and farcry

I wouldn't worry about your GTS.

There is something wrong with his card, or the way it's configured.

There's no way the top Nvidia card will struggle to run WoW.

What do you mean? The way it's configured?

And what resolution do you have WoW at?

And for the record... I can play Crysis at 1680x1050 on Ultra High and get good playable framerates
