Hey all I'm currently in the market for a new 2ndary card my main is the ati 5970 and I wanted a new nvidia card as a dedicated physx card and for my 2nd monitor to play blurays. My current 8800 gts won't play blurays sux. So any suggestions btw the 460/470??
The GTX 460 - It's an awesome card and can handle 1920x1080 resolution and physx by itself! It would make an excellent physx card, and is overkill just for that purpose already.
just got that so it should be nice mainly i want my 2nd monitor to be able to play blu rays while i'm gaming or what ever... also are there better prog. than cyberlink9 power dvd
should of got the AR verison rather than the TR, as the AR will give you life-time warrenty to TR 2-year warrenty. this one would of been a better option IMO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130568 , which also blows the heat out the back instead of in your case
Yes they are fantastic,i just ran BC2 maxed in DX11 @ 1680x1050 and still getting around 60-65 fps,didn't see it go below 50 fps. with an overclock of 851/1702/2023.

Nice! Thats what i like to hear! Getting to that stage i get to every couple of years where i need to start playing games at medium/low settings - not good! Looks like the forthcoming Gigabyte version is the one to go for;
I just upgraded from my 8800GTS to a GTX460 Hawk. It is soo much better, oh and don't go for the 465 or 470 they run much hotter, use far more power and cost a lot more for barley any extra performance.
The 460 Hawk is built to be over clocked and can be clocked to almost the same performance as a 480 but costs half the price ... so yes the 460 is the first good card Nvidea have done since the 9000 series!
