GTX460 problems

Should of posted this before my last one.

I seem to be having problems with my EVGA gtx460 EE 1gb graphics card.

Im having intermittent issues booting my system with this card. Which i get the 1 long beep followed by 3 short. The fans power up real fast and slow again, but nothing will appear on screen.

I put in my old ATi x1900XT and computer boots up , so must be a graphics card problem.

Been running this setup for about 8months without problems.

Im currently running my gtx460 now and all seems ok. Its just boot up that causing issues.

My PSU by the way is Corsair TX650.

Thanks

Faulty card. I had a palit GTX 460 that did the same thing (among other things). RMA it to EVGA, they are good with warranty.

Do i need to phone EVGA directly? Because i cant see no online application to fill in?

Its odd, as my system is up and running now and seems ok. ive just played 30mins of battlefield 3 without any issue.

Didn't you register the card for warranty when you got it? You do that by going to their website and putting in the serial #.

Yeah my card is on my EVGA account on the website. I just need to wait for my E-invoice to come through for dabs.com.

How long does it normally take EVGA to sort these sort of problems out?
