guarantee of computers

Hi everyone.I want to take a netbook from here that I have found many and in the characteristics it says 1 year guarantee. It is my first netbook and I would want to ask. .If the guarantee in general terms it is from the constructor or from the shop.?For those that do not understand the language it does not tease.. My question has it makes with the guarantee

The warranty is given by the manufacturer of the pc. You would have to contact them for any repair work within the warranty period.
 
I can't speak for all countries, but in the US, if you buy something from a store and when you get it home find that it doesn't work, you generally can return it immediately (within a reasonable time period, such as 7 days) to the store for a refund or exchange. However, if the device is functional at first but later develops a problem, then it is referred to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
 
If the new computer keeps working for 30 days that's a good sign then if it's still working after six Months chances are it will keep on working for years.

Last November I bought five new laptop type computers a small Toshiba Net. book two ASUS 75S&75SW laptop a HP and another smaller ASUS laptop. All are still preforming well with no problems.;)
