Guild Wars Faction Over Rated?

I was just wondering if the game gets better once you get right into the game. Cause I got a level 8 Archer/Warrior and a level 6 Assassin/Archer. Does the game get alot better when you hit like level 20 and that? Cause at the moment its not doing a great deal for me.

Well, I always think this kind of question really depends on the person... But, Guild Wars does take a little getting used to, and the PvP battle can turn out to be a lot of fun! The best way to start enjoying the game more would be to find some people on-line that you like, and explore and do stuff with them...

I didnt think a great deal of PvP Only characters. I just dont feel that theres enough you can do with them, you cant level up you can only get new weapons and skills. To much like Zelda, Zelda = WORST GAME EVER.

um hell no i have finished it with my warrior monk and i love it i got the kurzick 1.5 armor cost me 100k but i had an exalted aegis shield and sold it for 75k wich got me my armor im curently looking for anothe one to keep or just a mist amulet if u are selling one please leme know and no guild wars factions is not over rated the item drops are a luitl scruegy but it has good game play and is alot hrader 2 to prevent farming um, yes because factions concentrates on being lvl 20 and is really fun when u get to lvl 20 u have kurzicks and luxon batles going on all the time and its really fun i know teh monestary is the most boring place in the world but thats y its noob island

i hate u zelda is amazing its what started the big craze obn these mythological games and besides zelda was more about skill thats y u dont have lvling

Guild Wars focuses on individual skill, not levels. An assassin with the right skills can take down a Tank easily. Even a Mesmer could do it if they use the right skills and have a good strategy.

To much like Zelda
How is it too much like Zelda? Honestly, they are 2 completely different games.

Anyways, anyone know how much Lou's Karambits sell for? They're Green Daggers, Max damage, +30 Health, and something about 20% armor penetration.

probably a good 20k

If you read what I wrote you would see that I didnt say Guild Wars gameplay was anything like Zelda. I said the whole PvP characters not being able to level up is like zelda. Anyway my opinion is zelda sucks ass.

What level is everyones character and what class's?

If not being able to level up makes it like Zelda then the PvP is just like many other games. And you techincally do level up in Zelda. After beating a boss you can get extra health/weapons/items. If you don't like the fact that you dont' level up in PvP then you probably don't like matches of skill. Everyone is level 20 so that all are evenly matched regarding health and level. I'm sure you don't want to be a lvl 5 going up against a lvl 20. If you don't like PvP then go try some GvG matches, you may like that more.

20 Assassin/Monk- can kick ass and heal at the same time.
15 Necromancer/Monk- I just suck the enemy's blood and create minions out of their corpses.
8 Monk/Mesmer- Working on a Monk because there's a big demand for monks

I have more characters but I just don't use them often.

I have a Monk/Ranger that I paired with a friend of mine that had a Necromancer/Mesmer. Man, that was a lot of fun letting his minions and my pet go out and distract while we own from a distance :). We had some real fun with Yetis and such...

i have lvl 16 monk/assasin hes great for running thru he pwnes quite a bit to and ive finally beat the game with my warrior/monk about a 2 weeks ago i tranferd him over from profecies and now im worcking on finishing that
