The minute i saw the screenshots of this game i started drooling. I am a major mmorpg geek. Does anyone on here play and if you do what are the pros and cons of the game? This is probaly gonna be the first new game i buy for the comp im getting in a little over a month.
 
PROS: Free online play, easy to get in to, quests and missions offer better rewards compared to Prophecies, GvG/AvA/PvP/PvE, good graphics, special in-game events like the Dragon Festival and Tengu Day.

CONS: Scammers/idiots in general, no races to choose to play as, limited character customization options(appearance-wise), touch rangers

You may also want to think about getting Guild Wars Nightfall when it's released later this year(unless ANet delays it).

i plan on buying prophecies, factions, and nightfall if i like factions

and im completely used to a level of idiots and scammers past anything, ive played runescape lol
 
If/when you buy both Prophecies and Factions make sure you merge the accounts together(you only get one chance). If you do merge them together then you get 2 extra character slots and the ability to travel to the other continents(Cantha and Tyria).
 
okey dokey sounds good, do you happen to know if the game will run on a geforce 6150le? its intergrated in a computer im buying so i may buy this b4 a vid card
 
Yeah, with the original and Factions, you get 6 total slots over the normal 4 for each, and the ability to access the entire game with all six instead of just the appropriate game. One thing you should know about Prophecies is that it takes A LOT longer to get to the storyline when compared to Factions. The biggest feature of these games is that the game play stresses team play and make-up as well as the skills you personally choose, as opposed to standard RPG's which are more just try to inflict as much damage as quickly as possible.
