Guitar Hero 3 strum bar question

Is there a way to make it loose and easy to strum without having to have no life and play all hours of the day?

I like it loose but I don't have time to play every single day to make it wear out.

Just strum back and forth really fast for a bit and see if it works any.

You could probably take apart the controller and maybe use some WD-40? I'm not sure.

Just strum it a bit... i use it and has been fine... do it really fast... without breaking it
