I just cant believe they attempt things like this though.

I mean he even connected the computer up to his main house supply and connected the toasters circuits & stuff into the Computers Psu .

I wouldnt even dare risking it.

It's a old computer, at least im guessing, the case diesgn is old at least. Hooking it up to his main house supply there could be nothing that would go wrong except a circuit breaker which would be a easy fix.
