Hi there,

I have recently been on the wrong end of ID theft. I have had domain names stolen from my accounts. I think it all stems from my Hotmail being hacked, though I can't be sure. I initially suspected a keylogger, but I bought a new laptop and pimped it with AV from McAfee, so it's clean. However, I got rehacked last night.

Can Hotmail be hacked? How easy is it? I will try and get my password reset by MSN, then delete the account.

Any advice would be great.

Yes it can be!

It is not easy...depends on how long of a password you have!

Change all accounts and passwords that includes your isp account...contact your isp and set up a new account with new password, set up new hotmail account with new password ect ect ect...! Dont over look any!

Dont share with anyone and I mean anyone! My wife dont even know my passwords!

I have been told that using cookies, Hotmail can be hacked. My server got hacked and activeX appeared on it via SQL injection. Could this activeX have sent my Hotmail cookies to the hacker, who are now using them to constantly rechange my password?

My password was ~12 chars, alphanumeric and multi-case.
