i got a virus, and i used avg and it found it and removed it, i restarted the comp and redid scan and so far nothing has been detected....
iis...is....it gone...?
 
it sounds like it is gone but if it detects it again turn of system restore then scan and remove it after that reboot your system and turn system restore back on (to turn off system restore right click my computer file down to properties left click on that a system properties box will open and you will see a system restore tab in the top left click that and there is a option to turn of system restore.)dont forget to turn it back on when you have done
 
Removed it? If you used AVG it would have simply put the virus into the virus vault....that is if you didn't delete the virus yourself. Anyway, it won't get out of the vault and you can delete it from there manually if you want. Just go into the virus vault and it should be there, select the 'action' tab then 'empty vault' if you wish to delete it permanently.
