So I tried to play a lan game earlier this evening and just got frusterated so gave up. Could anyone help?
I have installed a legal copy of the game on my system as well as on my fiances (same copy on both machines) I signed onto steam from both machines at different times and let all updates run. I then started a game (lan) and tried to connect via my fiances computer but durring load the games stopped and told me to enter my password again and when I did it would not allow me to connect (just kept popping up the password screen).
So anyone Please
can you tell me how to connect to a lan game without this happening? I've googled but that just pissed me off also.
