Half life 2 Question

who cares,he's learning more and more about how good the game is :P

Plus yoiu can tell when they climb the pipes,the pipe rattles and moves when they climb so you know which one,but they are hella scary.I was on edge for like 2 hours.

But now...i control the ant lions.

Ah yes, the bug-bait, brilliant, but a tiny bit over rated, when you go along the beach front up around the coast when your on your way to nova prospekt, they get killed far too easily by the turret guns, and you end up facing the combine by yourself anyway, they are good to have fun with, but a bit overrated....

Oh btw, did anyone else find the whole chapter "SandTraps" hard, i did...

I just remember driving a car into a tunnel with a pile of cars and at the bottom it said "SandTrap" and there are just like 15 or so zombies you gotta blast through.

Oh right, that bit yeh, thats right at the beginnign of sandtraps, i meant the bit a bit later, but yeh, that bits fun anyway, lots of dead ombies there.

If you ca see, i remeber that bit being almost pitch balck, and you have to get out of the car/buggy to put your flashlight on, use the gravity gun to blast the cars, then carry on driving.

Father grigorri is great, some of his comments are funny. Shame he gets left behind though, any normal person woudl come with you (the massively armed crazy guy) into the mines. But noo, he stays in the zombie infested town of ravenholme where he is likely to un out of bullets in a few weeks, lol.... DUMB

Ya but he is a priest and those are his people,he is a very good priest to stay with them until the end..even if he is shooting them,he's freeing them in a sense :)
 
meh, fair enough, i dont really care, he helped me and i leave him to die, seems fair to me, lol...

nova prospekt is a good chapter, all of it, especially the numerous gun ship fights you get right at the beginning when you are trying to get in undetected, lol, that never works.

i liked the game until the headcrabs showed up. i hate those things they're so stupid. graphics werent bad though. i much prefer quake 4 or basically something with bigger explosions and more outrageous and gory than ever. HL2 is good for puzzle solving and some gore, but from what i played its mostly puzzle solving and running from crap. i mean if i made the game, you would've gotten a rocket launcher to massacre that stupid helicopter... then again you did get to destroy a few in that one vehicle... w/e

HL2, great game, although a little short in my liking. I completed the game, according to my saved file readings, in 3 hours 36 minutes.

You might wanna double check that.... thats obscenely short, the cut scenes and loading times probably take up half of that time on there own.... either your exaggerating a lot or those times are wrong...

I'm going off the time that the saved file says, plus, I tend to just sprint through level's rather than stand back and fight :)

They do give you rocket launchers........

Or do you mean the first helicopter encounter? at the very begining? Yea, that part was kinda stupid, but the rest was fun.
