skidude said:Thats impossible since your monitor cannot show that FPS.
When i play cs 1.6 the fps is 1460+ the max i ever got out of the fps was 3800.664901 that when im viewing the free review in cs 1.6 when i can i see the action everywhere. the fps is around 3000 - 4000
And 1460 - 1700 fps while playing.
type timerefresh in console while your died and then type timerefresh while your playing
Jerkstore said:good effort, but the original CS only allows up to 99FPS at it's MAX
are you talking about show_fps or a net_graph command?
I highly doubt you have seen 300+ fps on CS and I call shenanigans on this post
Yeh, you would think that game loading would be mega high fps, but in HL2 i get 3 fps while loading a game, i know it doesnt need hardly any at all, all its showing is a loading bar, but still 3 fps. when i get like 45 in game. doesnt make any sense. That means it performs better in game playing rather than in a still image with no detail......It does say CS and CS:S in the title, only way i can see getting 300+ fps is if he looks at the menu of the game or when the game is loading or something.
what a nice job of cutting and pasting the numbers... your real score was 98.95 FPS.Apokarteron said:

ahh i see, its easy to tell because if it was a real score, then the numbers wouldnt be farther on the right than the rest of the text.Apokarteron said:Actually it was 48.95, I changed the 4 to a 9...
No, and It's not even 30FPS.Apokarteron said:350 frames per second??? What do you need that for, 24 FPS are enough and perfectly smooth...
clkProject said:To be perfectly smooth, it has to be at least 60FPS, but I know someone else will say otherwise.
anything above 35 is good for me, i have halo set to play at a constant 30FPS and it looks great. Same with CoD2 when im playing at 25FPS, it looks great. But now with CSSskidude said:I say 40FPS or above, but people have different opinions. It has been proven that the difference between anything above 60FPS is undectable to the human eye.
is there even a stress test in the original CS?GamerGuy8899 said:Why would you even want to test your machine on the old version of CS? I Don't know what my FPS is on CS:S but when I video stress it it comes out around 75-79 FPS which is really bad
But hey, if you look at the sig you will know whyUgh... i hate my PC!
