that can happen if you mod it or install mods someone else made... try a different level/mapI get this every time I play halo after a few minutes:
Exception!
then it says:
Halo has done something illegal operation or something like that. What is happenin?
Should I install "Nvidia" Drivers? Not Microsoft drivers included in installation?
Browse to the Microsoft Games folder, then the Halo folder, and open up the Halo Update utility.OMEGA -Umm... no... it doesnt pop up like Avast does and says you need a new version or update or something so I have no idea. Whre can I get this ?
No! Microsoft uses a standard vga.dll driver, which works with basically any video card. It allows you to view the screen and perform basic 2D/3D functions. You NEED to get the drivers for nVidia if you want to game.Arent they pretty much the samE?
Ive found halo works in vista better then xp just for your info.
...umm... myGeforce4MX440 and Mx400 32MB have been running HALO with no probs though. Will installing Nvidia drivers increase performance? And will just downloading and installing do it? Or do you have to remove Microsoft drivres first?
Yo dude is your thread still open because i want to overclock my S3 because the gaem NFSU2 or 1 doesn't show any writting and the gaem HALO resizes then i tried running it in safe mode, and I can't view anything such as writting and if i guess the buttons and start the game then everything is colored wrong with bad graphics...
I wouldn't even try. There's the DEMO version... and theres only around 13 servers...
I was just lucky that computer could play with integrated graphics... *I'm special!* - VIA motherboard
Soo... no your GFX probably does not have Transform & Lightning to play the game.
