I loved Halo 1 and 2 , thought 3 was overrated but still good and ODST was garbage... Halo reach worth a buy? any insight, ive read reviews, ign would give that game a 9.5 no matter ... good single player?

That's alotta 12 year olds..

Useless comments aside..

Halo Reach is damn fun. It's a great addition to the Halo series. I haven't played the campaign yet, but the multiplayer is insanely awesome. They implemented a loadout similar to Battlefield. Where you choose if you want to sprint, have a jetpack, be invincible for about 10 seconds, go invisible, or have a running clone hologram of yourself.

Just got back from friends house and we were playing it i found it funny that snipers can own a tank :P if the player in the tank isn't accurate ^^

Not for what they are charging for it. Games prices keep going up...quality and content keep going down.

it's basically what Halo 3 should have been IMO. the campaign is on the short side, but is a must play for halo fans. multiplayer is amazing, perfect almost.. people buy halo almost exclusively for online play.

it's $59.99, the same price xbox 360/PS3 games have been for years. i have to disagree about quality going down, it's certainly changing though.

thats cuz bungie is the only game maker to make a game that the multiplayer is balanced

Selling it here for $69.99 for some reason. Another title that relies solely on online just like so many titles anymore. Plus for a extra $10 you can purchase a DLC with 2 new skins :P Last part was a joke but I am sure you get what I mean.

You could do that in Halo 1, Reach truly brings back so many memories its ridiculous. The only thing I hate is everyone ALWAYS votes for snipers in TDM. Come on people, you can't snipe, stop trying.

I disagree, halo3 was perfect and I'll fight tooth and nail with anyone for that fact.

In the end, Reach is a lot of fun, and as its own game it works out well. While personally it goes balls deep in canon, making the single player only 7/10 for me the multiplayer is amazing, 10/10. (as earlier stated by ScottALot).

I'm saddened by the fact that this is Bungie's last halo game though. I felt they could have gone out with a bang, rather than a whisper. Here is hoping 343 studios doesn't screw everything up.

first of all it's not a fact; it's your opinion. my favorite in the franchise is Halo 2.

i can't stand how Halo 3 visually performs. i know it runs at the same frame rate as Reach, but reach is so much more vivid, fluent, and smooth. the difference is that Reach was specifically designed to run at 30 fps, whereas 3 was originally supposed to run at 60 fps but was then dropped to 30.

the gameplay is great, but the game overall was far from perfect.

i will say i've noticed a huge flaw in the multiplayer.. the respawning seems to be some of the worst out of any halo game i've every played. it's not quite a game breaker, but for a quality franchise like halo i expected better.

I bought it last night , I tried the multiplayer, the game started and were all in cars driving around, I hate how you can pick the level... I want to play team slayer, is there a way I can do that up?

Is it mostly on the forged maps? It's hard for Bungie's spawn system to understand spawns that aren't pre-made for the map itself.

it's on the bungie made forge maps, as well as bungie made non forge maps. like i said it's not game-breaking, but it's unacceptable for halo IMO.

I never really was a halo fan. I hate constantly trying to aim for the head so I don't put a whole clip into a guy and then have to melee him just to kill him... I stay with my Modern day FPS.
