halo2 no hud?

how do i get the NO-HUD
some are saying its a mod, but i dont belive it is.
i ask cause it disables and makes evrything on ur screen disappear thus making it easier to film.

I think the Blind skull takes away the HUD, at least in campaign. But if you are talking about multiplayer, its a softmod. If you want, I could ask at another of my forums as to how you do it

Now I have never played Halo 2 but from what I've read, it is considered cheating in multiplayer by some as there is no option to remove the hud so you would have to use a hack. People please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you use Action Replay, then yes, it's cheating(but you can't be caught by the Banhammer supposedly). But there is a way to get rid of the HUD without using anything besides a Plasma Pistol and skull.

I THINK this is how it goes...Start up and odd-ball game with primary and secondary weapons set to Plasma Pistol. Find an skull, charge up your plasma pistol to the max, while charge run towards the skull and hold X so you pick up the skull. If you've done it correctly then you should have no weapons at all and have no HUD, except for the radar and health bar. DO NOT TOUCH ANY WEAPON, if you do then you will automatically pick up that weapon. I may be wrong and if I am then you can go to the Bungie forums and ask for help, but be warned, you may be flamed mercilessly.
