hamachi

How secure is it?
I remember i thought someone got hacked via Hamachi.
How fast is it?
If i wanted a game from a friend (Americas army, free download) but didnt want to download it, would this be faster than downlaoding ?

Well, depends how fast your friends upload is.
 
I got this working between me and my sister, but when I click browse on her network it shows me the 'my documents' folder on my own pc. How do i see the other persons pc?

Something like that, idk. I havent used vista long enough to know the equivalents in xp. In xp though it's called Network Setup Wizard.


Now that i think about it, i remember having the same problem as you; I could see the xp computer, but the xp computer couldnt see the vista computer.

these are both vista computers right now
 
I chose connect to workplace using VPN dont know if that was the right option or not. For internet address i put her ip address and for destination name i put the name of her hamachi nickname. No luck though
 
well open up himachi and then make a new conncetion or somthing of sorts then get the ip adrees then go to the other computer and then enter th ip and enter the connection usually theres a pass word then makesure the doc you wwant is in the shared folder then rip it of play it
