Hello, I'm going to break this off into 3 sections so its easier to read if you wanna just jump to the problem instead of reading the problems life story..The problem. The origin of my problem. and my personal solution to the problem.
THE PROBLEM

Whenever i start up my Computer 4 out of 5 times it hangs on the "Windows is starting" I hit my reset button / or my power button to force shut it down. And just retry until it lets me on, as i said. 4 out of 5 times i encounter this problem. Sometimes it will not hang and just fully load, but a lot of the times it hangs on the Starting Windows and i just reset / force shut down till it lets me get past it.
_____
"Background to the problem"

I left my computer on for roughly 4 days, a lot longer than what i usually leave it on for. I finally shut it off and went to sleep. The next morning (today) i hit the power button, left to go do some house stuff for about 2~ Hours. Sat down onto the char and turned on the screen, but then i noticed it just hanged on the "Starting windows"
Normally the moment i see the Starting Windows message little colorful balls begin to form at the top into the Windows logo (The windows 7 start up disply) but all i was getting instead was just the start up message, and thats it.
After 3 attempts i putt in my Windows 7 Disc, it loaded all of the files and then hit the Start up windows. With the Disc it passed it, it then went to the Windows 7 Disc options, i then began the reformatting process. After it was completed i installed my drivers, restart the computer. it worked fine went straight to the desktop. Installed my Antivirus, restarted after that. And went straight to the desktop without issues.
After the Antivirus i installed a game i play, Everquest 1. played for a few hours then i restarted. however the problem now was back, went into BIOS and i noticed the boot was set to DvD > HDD, i switched it to HDD > DVD, but it still did the error, after a few attempts it finally let me in, and now i am posting this message.

My solution.

I do not know what the problem is. I am beginning to think its a HDD problem, is it dying? the Windows Startup is the only problem i am noticing. so my solution is to just leave my computer on literally 24/7, when i am not using it just putt it in Sleep Mode.
Will this be fine for me? Leaving my computer on every hour for every day. But when i am not using it switch it to Sleep Mode. Only time it will be off is if the power is out.
Also, do you think my HDD is dying? If i get a new 1 will this problem stop?
