Hi all,
I've been thinking about picking up an external enclosure and popping a 4TB WD Red into it. I'm concerned that my computer (built 2007, see signature) would have problems recognizing the entire size of the drive. This is despite the enclosure I'm looking at saying it supports 4TB or over.

I haven't decided which to go with but it seems there isn't really a clear winner in terms of external enclosures for hard drives, at least ones that have at least some sort of warranty attached to them (many I've seen are simply 14 days exchange, or similar).
