Hi.
I got 4 hard drives. Two [80GB] 10krpm 16mb cache Western Digital VelociRaptors and two [500GB] 7200rpm 32mb cache Hitachi UltraStars.
How can I connect these hard drives to the motherboard? I'm going to be doing RAID 0 with the VelociRaptors and RAID 1 with the UltraStars.
What's the best cable to connect the hard drives to the motherboard? SATA cables? Or is there anything faster? Are SATA cables the same as SATA2 or what? Sorry guys...I've never connected a hard drive to a motherboard before in my life...I hope it's easy.
Do I also have to connect them to the PSU or will the motherboard supply the HDDs with enough power?
