whats the cache like 2mb cache or 8 or even 16 does it make a heck of a lot difference or wot

holds info to be sent from the hd... 2mb cache is horrible.. 8mb is standard and good for all that i do (gamer, 3d Studio Max user)... i dunno what 16mb would be like... never seen one in action...

higher the better. the maxtor sata 300gb drive has 16mb cache. also scsi drive have 32mb!

1. Im impressed you finally learned how to spell 'what'
2. It wont make jack shit all difference -- depending on what you're doing. For 90% of people, having 2MB of cache translates to an additional loadtime of ... wow.... 1-5%.
