Hard Drive Compatability

Im going to build a computer but i still need to figure out what kind and then what hard drive to get.

i would like to get an sata drive because it has that capability but i dont know alot about sata and what is compatible with what so would this HD work with my MoBo.

I can see four sata plugs on the mobo in the pics, lower left, the orange things. SO yes, a sata drive most definitely ought to work with that board. The hard drive youpicked out is fine, but you can double the size for like $25 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144182 with this maxtor, and maxtor is definitely one of the best hard drives you can buy, so just something to consider
