hard drive corrupted

Hi
My secondary harddrive was corrupted by a broken power supply that was sending out the wrong voltage. The drive says "corrupted" but still registers several gigs of used space. Scandisk only finds orphan files. Is there any way to get this information into a format that's readable again without going to an agency that charges hundreds?

Cheers

Whoever told you its your PSU is wrong. If your psu gives out wrong voltages, your whole computer would be fried. Anyways, do you want the files that are on the disk already, or do you just want to wipe everything off the hard drive?
