Well I have a question...(probably has a really easy answer) but I just built a new computer with a Western Digital 200gb Sata II hard drive. My old computer, a Dell, has a Maxtor 40GB IDE hard drive. For some reason I'm having trouble installing windows onto my new system. Would it be possible to save the trouble of installing windows into my new system by just taking the 40GB HD out of my Dell and installing it into the new system. Basically have both the 200GB Sata II HD and the 40GB IDE HB in the same system? Also, would I have to do anything special to format the drives? Or could I just install the 40GB into my new system and have everything up and running? Thanks alot guys.

No, you can't just use the old harddrive/windows. As for the ''troubles" you probably just need to load the RAID/SATA drivers when you start the install.
