Hard Drive Issue

I have a small problem (I'm hoping it's small) with one of my hard drives. My computer knows I have a 2nd hard drive, and that my first hard drive is the boot drive, it detects the hardware, but I can't use it. It doesn't come up in My Computer with a (E or an (F drive type thing. How can I fix this?

Right click on "my computer" icon and click on manage. click on disk management on left. Look on the right for your hard drive, you most likely have to assign it a drive letter or it has to be partitioned and formatted.
