Hard Drive Issue

have a question i cleaned out my computer case and lost part of my windows somehow i did a command prompt to unlock the drive i did boot rec and everything and now i have an error that says boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed
wish i could get this system back up so i can make a recovery for my external hard drive

hp with 4 gig of ram with 4 core processer and 1 t wd hard drive with win 8

Do you mean bootmgr is missing error? You will need to do a repair of the OS. Try booting to safe mode options and see if there is an option to repair OS.
