Ok, I have two SeaGate Baracuda 7200.11 HDDs. I began to have problems some time back with Windows failing to make it past the loading screen without freezing. In the past, I could rearrange the SATA cords and then it would work. More recently it began to not even make it past the black startup screen and it cannot find my drives. I can get past the black startup screen if I rearrange my SATA cords but it will still freeze at the Windows loading screen. I've run SeaTools and it will fail saying there are damaged sectors that cannot be repaired, but if I rearrange the SATA cords it will pass. I've updated my firmware, but still am having the issues. I'm beginning to suspect that maybe it's something more than my HDDs because they both started to do this at the same time, and when i rearrange the SATA cords, then it will sometimes work fine. Could this possibly be an issue with my motherboard? Any suggestions please! I cannot even use my computer now!
Thanks
