Hard Drive LED Mod

I'm busy modding a new case and I got 4 HDD that goes in. I want to put in a LED for every hard drive separately so I can see the activity. LED per drive.


Can anyone help with this...:D:cool::good:
 
Im sorry for my "physical" spelling, slow weekend.

But is there any1 that has an idea how or if it can be done.
I remember on old 486's the led was wired from the molex that
plugs into the drive, how does this work... I want to to this with
a sata drive

I'm not familiar with what you're talking about with older computers, but I'm pretty sure modern drives don't have this feature. Given that the kit rwm19 posted only runs $22, it's unlikely that you'll be able to do-it-yourself for much cheaper.
