A long time ago (about 2 years) I partitioned my hard drive into 4 sections (C,D,E,F). Now that I dont need the extra partitions I tried to merge the C drive and the D drive with partition magic 8 and now everytime I start up my system I get a blue screen that basically says windows had to shut down in order to prevent damage to the hard drive and I cant figure out a way around it. I have no idea how to fix this at all so if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. By the way, my computer is a Dell Dimension 4550 and Im using Windows XP Home. Any help would be great.
