Windows XP Pro, two hard drives installed labeled C and D. After a reboot I noticed that the D drive is no longer listed in Windows Explorer or anywhere else. The drive does appear in the device manager though. What could have happened?
Turn your computer off, unplug the hard drive, start your computer up.
Then turn your computer off again, plug the hard drive back in and boot your PC back up, see what happens after that.
Right click on my computer and pick manage. Find disk management in the tree on the left. Try assigning a drive letter from the right click menu on the second drive.
