Hard Drive Noise and Problems?

Okay my hard drive makes grinding noise. It does it at boot up a lot and then while it idle it makes slight sounds. It loads everything super fast though. During gaming I get stuttering and objects/textures/details don't load until I get close or sometimes only when I look right at them. I get decent FPS (30-40) at 1080p max settings in games like crysis and witcher 2 but still stuttering.

My specs:

i5-2500
Radeon HD 6870 [ocd to 975/1140 from 900/1050]
8GB G.SKILL 1333MHz cas9
1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3

What do you think?

Newegg warranty expired but I was thinking of husseling them. Buy a new one, keep it, and return my old saying it came defective.

Download the Samsung utility and see if it passes or not. No need to hustle Newegg when the drive is most likely still under warranty by Samsung.

Yeah true I guess I forgot about their warranty to being separate from newegg's 30 day. I'll give that software a try and then update.

Actually you know what the drive is fine. Sorry for wasting your guy's time. As long as I clean registry and defrag every now and then noise is pretty much non-existent. The noise after booting is normal i suppose because its loading some stuff. Its just that my old PC is quieter so I got concerned. Thanks anyways.
