Hard Drive Not Detect

How many hard drives do you have in your system? It does detect one but its listed as slave. Do you have it jumpered correctly?

He has the optical drive on the primary and the HDD on the secondary with the HDD set as slave.

IIRC, You need to set the jumpers on the HDD to master then you need to swap your IDE cables so the HDD is on the primary and the CD/DVD is on the secondary.

Also if your ide cables have 2 connectors you need to use the end one on the HDD.

I try Ide Secondary slave and Ide Secondary Master driversnot found.. But last years its Ide Secomdary Master its works 40gb its same coonect

As Mycattmaxx has already said, you need to switch the cables on the motherboard connectors and then jumper the hard drive as master. Or jumper the hard drive as cable select and put it on the end connector. What motherboard do you have?
