Seagate Medalist 3210 3.429gb - Buzzes, No Detect

Western Digital Caviar 22000 - No Detect , Runs Good,

Quantum Fireball - Runs For A Few Seconds, Clicks, Dies, No Detect

Quantum Fireball - Buzzes No Detect

Western Digital Caviar 21200 - Runs, Motor Spins, Then Loud "raaaap!" No Detect


All Were Working (except Fireballs I Didnt Know Them From Before)

Well... the Quantum 246MB you can just take a jumper off of one of the others...

It a hard drive is making any unusual sound at all, there is not much you can do that would be worth it...

no no no, the Quantum, just saw that the jumper needles were bent and the "master" one just broke off >=(
