Here's the situation...I have an Acer Aspire 4520 with 120 GB HDD, Windows Vista Home Premium OS. The problem is that my computer boots but I cant do anything because I only have a little bit of C: space left. The hard drive is partitioned into about 50 Gb for c: and 50 Gb for D: and I have used most of the c: but the d: is empty.
I figured I could easily put an internal 500 GB hard drive in there but I can't really boot to clone my hd to transfer for new hard drive.
but i can boot into safe mode fine if that makes any difference.
What should I do?
Another problem is that I do not have a vista home premium 32 bit disc.. but I have the product key sticker on the bottom of the laptop.
So i guess what I am asking is, A.) can I clone from Safe Mode and How B.) Can I delete Recovery portion D: to increase C: drive space C
How can i get a copy of windows vista home premium 32 bit if i would just copy the main files to an external hard drive and install a new hard drive and then operating system then copy the files back to the computer.
Any comments probably will help. Thanks!
