Hard drive space issue

Every time i turn my laptop on i open the c drive and the hard drive space keeps changing, it keps getting lower and lower. Why?

I delete my temp internet files after every use. Anything i download, i put into my d drive. Why is the c drive changing?

When i go to the properties on my temp internet folder, it shows 2.05 megabites containing 3 files and 9 folders. but when i open the folder its empty. why?

temporary internet folder has hidden goodies, you wont see them.

the numbers grow as the computer goes through and counts up the files. right click the file, click properties, then let it sit for a minute. then you'll see.

That could be it, but what Im thinking is happening is you have virtual memory enabled and as you open more program or even just let windows sit there, your RAM is filling up and exchanging it with the hard drive. Thats why its always changing.

Get an external hard drive...
