Hard drive speed, does it affect performance?

It is your opinion that the entire line of drives are not reliable. This opinion is based on the fact that you have seen x number of failed drives. To suggest that your experience means that all the drives are unreliable and then to push it off as fact is foolish.

As far as I know, the line has 4 models - two in each of the available capacities. The 60 or so drives I have installed include all 4 models but certainly more of the 300GB models. I don't remember which models failed but it isn't unreasonable to question the line overall since they are at the bleeding edge of technolgy. It is possible that all of them were a single model. Honestly I don't remember so I'll say that your comment is reasonable because they could all have been a single model. My comment is reasonable because I had too many customers experiencing crashed drives and that is very painful both for the customer and for me.
