Hard Drive Swap

I have windows XP and Ubuntu dual booting on my 1TB HD. I just bought an external enclosure for my old 250gb HD. Then I realized that I should have done that the other way around, with the TB in the enclosure and the 250 in my tower.

Do you guys know how I could swap the data so that I can achieve this?

Copy + Paste You'll still have to reformat though unless you want to ghost the drive.

So i can copy and paste all the ubuntu and windows files as well, then just reformat the TB?

It's up to you how you want to do it. I mean i'm not the one sitting on your computer deciding what files you want to keep. I would put all the files you want to keep on the 1 tb hdd, then put the 250gb hdd in your computer, put windows on it. I would then put everything you want to keep on the 250gb hdd, and then format the 1 tb hard drive to get rid of the windows installation, and then put whatever you want back onto the drive.
