Hard Drive Testing

I have two 500GB drives I want to RAID together. I was wondering what tests I can run on them before I do anything. Would a full HD Tune scan be enough?

the hitachi drive fitness test worked good for me, idk if it'll work when uve got ur raid together so u might have to test the drives seperately.

edit: btw i see ur from illinois, GO BLACKHAWKS !!!
 
Seagate and WD both have their own tests to run on them. Go to their respective websites and download the software.
