Hard Drive With Partition Issue(Can't Access One!)

Ok so, I have a laptop with a 120Gb hard drive. I previously had it in two partitions: one was approx. 80gb with Windows 7 for OS(Drive E), and the second was approx. 40gb with Windows XP for the OS(Drive C). I rarely ever went on my XP partition but happened to the other day and found a virus waiting for me and I didn't really feel like messing around with it so I decided to format that partition.

So I went into my Windows 7 partition, opened Partition Magic and got it to format Drive C. It said it would complete the task upon restart, so it restarted and attempted to format, there was an error and it restarted again.

This time it flashed to BIOS screen and the went to a black screen with a flashing cursor in the top left hand corner. And I was unable to access either of my partitions so I couldn't get to either of my Operating Systems. So I put in my Windows 7 cd in and was able to format Drive C from there and installed another windows 7 on Drive C.

So now I have two partitions both with windows 7 but I can only access the one on my Drive C. If i go to My computer I can see my Drive E and can view my files and stuff I just can't physically get there. Is there some way I can get my computer to recognize or I should say re-recognize my Drive E, so it will appear as a boot option for me to select during start up??

Any Help is Great!

Thanks :)

in xp u used to be able to edit boot.ini, windows 7 uses some sort of command line program for that i cant remember what its called but look that up and it should lead u in the right direction.
