Hard drive

I have 19.2 GB Left on my C Drive and its max is 86.3 GB Would it be good if I just bought a new bigger one, or just get an external hard drive? I don't know much about external drives, I know most people use them for music, videos, files they don't use but want to keep. And the C Drive is for games and what not, stuff you use frequently. Please leave some suggestions, thoughts, anything :D

Possible to trade my data from this one to that one?
Wait, whoa you have 2 Hard Drives?

Dude, you're a HUGE Help. Thanks a lot of all you have done for me so far :D

actually, multiple hard drives is a tried and true way to go. There's a thing called RAID (Redundant Array of Independant Disks) that will allow performance increases and Redundancy (Fault Tolerance), but you have to have a special controller to implement that. Something that's important to remember though: you want to make sure you have a copy of all CRITICAL data in a differant PHYSICAL location in case of total hardware failure, fire, or natural disaster. If you like to take your data with you from time to time, you should get an External Drive. These usually are Plug-N-Play.

I would personally get a internal, it's not usually worth the extra cash, and I prefer the speed ^^

You could just buy an enclosure and pull it out every time you needed it..

Get the largest internal hard drive you can afford.
I have five internal (two in RAID 0) and one 2.5 external.
It all equals to well over a terabyte.

You can also find hard drive enclosures that will house an internal drive. This way your hard drive is portable and is also nice for transferring data to a different pc.

Honestly internal are so much better!I have two HDD's one for games and one for music/video files.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136098 nice hard drive! Plenty of space 320GBs

well i would say i would like to go for an external Hard Disk. i feel with external hard disk Unlike the internal hard drive in your PC, which is held securely in a rarely moved case, external drives are being carried about from place to place and as a result they get dropped, knocked, crushed and subject to all manner of abuse and trauma.

They have trailing power and/or data cables that only too easily serve to pull them over, drag them off desks or otherwise expose them to further risk.

Unlike the hard drive in your PC or Laptop, which is cooled by a fan, external drives seldom have cooling fans and, in an effort to make them as small as possible, the hard drive(s) inside rarely have much free air space around them. This can result in overheating with the attendant problems that causes.
Look at this link, they have some of the major external Har disk brands
