Hardwire. Speeds are much faster and more reliable than wifi.

Ethernet. Hardline, LAN all the same thing. Much better than WIFI if you can mange it. You want Cat6.

Hard wired is much better than wireless, if it's possible. Wireless is a shared medium, so you share the airtime with all other users, not to mention you are much more prone to packet loss, packet collision, increased latency, etc. Wireless has definitely gotten better over the years, but it doesn't compare to ethernet where you can easily get 1Gbps/10Gbps over CAT6.
