Somebody PLEASE tell me why this font style is being used in Explorer 6.0 in some webpages and emails I receive (Outlook 2003 used)?

It is so hard to read and very small sized. Making it larger just makes it less readable.

I did a copy paste into Word of some of the text doing to see what it is suppose to be. Once was Times New Roman and another time it was Arial.

Got to the top toolbar in IE and select VIEW then TEXT SIZE. You have selections in there to make the font bigger.

Thanks Tom. But no, I use Norton. I tried to change to different selections in 'View' - 'Encoding' in the toolbar of IE 6.0 but no cigar still.

Okay. Open IE and go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Fonts. Check your default fonts as listed in the two boxes. Make sure the box says Latin Based, and then check the two boxes listed to choose your default fonts as described.

Then go here: http://www.moonsoftware.com/freeware.asp to download Font Explorer Lite. There you'll see every font installed on your PC as well as a method to remove any that you don't like... like that one up there :D.
