Harddisk clicks

i begin to hear some wierd noises like clicking when i boot up my pc
i think its becouse i connect some wires while i was trying to fix my mose (the pc was on and restarted ) i was able to recover some files what shold i do after \before i opened it to fix

Well if I understand that correct. You were fooling with your mouse wires while it was plugged in with the computer running and it restarted? ( Should not be done) Probable grounded the hot wire somehow. If so I,m not really sure why that would effect your harddrive. You sure the clicking sound is comming from the harddrive?

You DON'T open a harddrive, not even to fix it, you just don't do it. As soon as you open the thing it's done for and all your stuff is gone unless you can afford professional data recovery.
