I have a laptop that would not boot up windows giving me a BSOD saying there was an unmountable Boot Volume. I ran knoppix and check the drive with: “ntfsresize -fi /dev/hdXY” and it said there was a bad sector and that "This may be caused by physical damage to the drive". My question is, is there any sort of program that I can use to repair this damage or do I need to replace the drive.
