hiya all,i have a packard bell imedia 1538,my harddrive is 160gb which is partitioned into 3 parts,c drive as a capacity of only 30gb and the rest is shared between the other two parts,i have now nearly used the full 30gb,i was wondering is there any way to take the partitions down without a full system resart or do i have to back every thing up first and do the full job??any help would be appreciated, thanks rick:D

You could use a program such as Partition Magic to repartition your drive, however, there is a distinct possibility that something can go wrong during the process and trash the contents of your drive.. Thus and therefore, it is always recommended to back up your stuff anytime you want to mess around with partitioning.

so would you say its just easier and safer to just bak up everything and jus do the full system restore and also by doing that would that give me the option to select weather or not i have partitions?thanx rick:confused:

nice 1,so if i did the full sytem restore to get it back to factory standard, would that process give me options to partition or not????thanx
