harddrive problem

hi all i have just installed a second drive as slave, computer has found it and say's this device is working. but i have no icon in [my computer] so i can't access it. thank,s in advance for any help given

If it's new, you may need to partition it first in order for Windows to see it.

Control Panel> Administrative tools> Computer Management > Disk Management folder and there you can partition it.

No problem. After you partition, you'll see it in "My Computer", you'll have to format it before using it.
